Kian Sarreshteh - CEO, CryptoFi
Kian entered the crypto space professionally in 2015. Since 2015, he has consulted with numerous Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and FinTech focused companies across the U.S., giving him unique insight and perspective into the space. In 2015, Kian founded an IT recruiting and consulting company focused on fintech/crypto and transformed the company into a multi-million-dollar operation. Also in 2015, he acquired a 35-year-old background check company that focused on regulated industries including financial services. He led new product development, including the development of a blockchain database to store background check records. Prior to his departure, Kian was instrumental in the company’s growth with a 50% increase in revenue. In 2020, Kian founded CryptoFi, Inc. - a Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS) company enabling financial institutions and credit unions to offer a choice of all leading digital currencies to their member base, compliantly and seamlessly via existing platforms. Kian holds a Dual Bachelor’s in Marketing and International Studies from University of Missouri.
David Tuyo - President/CEO, University Credit Union
Dr. David Tuyo serves as the President/CEO of University Credit Union. He is a veteran of the financial services industry where he has served financial institutions in a multitude of roles. Dr. Tuyo is extensively involved in industry initiatives, furthering credit union causes. He is a constant advocate for the credit union movement to ensure access to financial services for all, as well as financial education, that in tandem lead to members building financial mobility. Dr. Tuyo has been a featured speaker both inside and outside the financial services industry covering topics such as Leadership, Economics, A.I., Metaverse, Organizational Behavior, Lending, and many others.
He has served on numerous financial services industry boards in his career, currently serving on Allied Solutions Advisory Board, Members Development Company Board, CUNA CEO Council Executive Committee, CUNA Mutual Regional Advisory Board, Cardwell Advisory Board, California Credit Union League’s Regulatory Advocacy Committee, Visa’s Payments Roundtable, UCLA Anderson School Forecast Board, as well as NAFCUs Cybersecurity and Payments Committee. Dr. Tuyo’s education includes a DBA from California Southern University, an MBA from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Mobile.
